My Audiobook Library an online audiobook store launched a campaign on the popular crowdfunding website Kickstarter earlier this month. The campaign hopes to raise $12000 before September 9.

This license would allow My Audiobook Library to compete in the currently monopolized market of downloadable audiobooks.
Backers can pledge just $10 for a full-length audiobook of their choice with higher pledges that give access to even more audiobooks to build their very own audiobook library. All downloads are purchases not rentals and can be kept forever. Once a book is downloaded it can be accessed anytime on multiple devices with no expiration date.
