UAE Facilities Management to hit USD5.44b by 2015
(MENAFN) According to a study released by security services provider G4S, Facilities Management (FM) services contracts in the UAE could possibly reach around USD 5.44 billion per annum by next year, Emirates 24/7 reported.
The numbers included different types FM services like cleaning services, pest control, office services, landscaping, waste management and building management systems with the exclusion of security services.
The study also states that an average of 60 percent of most industries in the UAE may subcontract their FM requirements.
"FM contracts are becoming more integrated, more metric-based, and crucially, longer in duration. The combined effect of these improvements is better service for customers and improved cost-efficiencies for all parties," the report added.
