(MENAFNEditorial) TNT Express set another leadership example when the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry re-awarded the company's CSR Label for the third consecutive year. The award is in recognition of the company's efforts and initiatives in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility.
The CSR Label was presented by H.E. Hesham Al Shirawi, Vice-chairman of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During his address he stated that the award recognises TNT's efforts and dedication to integrate CSR into corporate governance and strategy; while helping to promote best business practices across Dubai's business community.
TNT Express has made sustainable efforts to contribute to the local community through various initiatives as a company as well as a part of the Centre for Responsible Business - Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
The label is awarded to companies after undergoing a due diligence process by the Chamber where they are audited by chamber representative for sustainable practices and corporate responsibility.

The CSR Label initiative has helped us take a holistic review of our performance over the last year and to examine the health of our Corporate Responsibility system. TNT Express has also been re-certified to the five international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, SA 8000 and IiP and have also been actively involved with the Dubai Chamber Sustainability Network by participating in various CSR projects."
