Dar alHerfya displays premium handicrafts


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) With an aim to support more than 1100 families by 2016 dar alherfya is showcasing premium handicraft products at the 15th gcc joint exhibition & conference in sharjah.

it’s oman-based specialised investment company in quality development production marketing promotion and for omani handicrafts to be sold locally and internationally such as leather fabrics palm frond fabrics silver and textiles along with other products that are made locally by omani craft persons.

“we act as a meeting point for all omani talents and we pool them for better results. most of our products are produced and designed locally by young talented omanis. our main job is to enhance the quality and value of the products by repackaging” dar alherfya chief executive officer zuwaina sultan al rashid told khaleej times.

“i believe it’s kind of csr [corporate social responsibility] initiative as we support more than 400 families at the moment compared to 305 [families] last year. our aim is to support at least 1150 families in the next two years” al rashid explained.

“our clients are multinational companies and hotels” she said adding: “we ensure that our clients are fully satisfied with our creative designs as the chosen designs shall be exclusive to one’s organisation to preserve and promote one’s corporate identity.”

the company’s objective is to encourage and motivate talented omani craft persons and designers and help them market and promote their products.
