Emirates, flydubai to expand destinations on rising tourists numbers


(MENAFN) Airlines in Dubai plan to cover the growing passenger demand with Emirates expanding their fleet size up to 250 aircraft while flydubai to 100, according to the Emirates 24/7. Thierry Antinori, Executive Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates, said: �We will have 250 aircraft and we will fly to 170 destinations by 2020.� In response, Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai, said: �We will have over 100 aircraft and fly to 100 destinations by 2020.� Flydubai has recently announced its plan to reach five more destinations, including Delhi, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram in India; and Almaty and Shymkent in Kazakhstan.
