Lebanese Hurt as Syrian Helicopter Raids Arsal Outskirts

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) One Lebanese citizen was wounded last night after a Syrian military helicopter fired four missiles at an area in the outskirts of the Bekaa border town of Arsal. Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported that a Syrian helicopter waged a strike on the Wadi Ajram area in Arsal's outskirts. Four missiles were fired at "a convoy of cars carrying gunmen," NNA said. The raid was the latest in a string of cross-border strikes against Arsal. On January 17, shells rained down on the town, killing eight people, including five children. A December air raid prompted the Lebanese Army to fire back with anti-aircraft guns. Earlier on Tuesday, five rockets struck several Bekaa towns, causing no casualties. Al-Manar television said the rockets were fired from Arsal's outskirt
