Turkish FM Holds Call with Iranian Counterpart on US-Iran Talks
(MENAFN) Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone conversation on Friday with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to assess the current status of talks between the United States and Iran.
According to sources from the Turkish Foreign Ministry, the two officials reviewed developments in the ongoing negotiation process between Tehran and Washington and exchanged views on its latest stage.
Meanwhile, Iran stated the same day that it is still examining a US proposal intended to resolve the broader conflict. Tehran has not yet finalized its response.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei told the semi-official Tasnim news agency that Iranian authorities are continuing their review of the proposal and will announce their official position once the evaluation process is complete.
