Mykolaiv Territorial Defense Troops Test Wolly Remote Fire Control Module
“At the moment, we are testing and zeroing the Wolly combat module, which can be installed either on a ground robotic platform or directly on a position using a tripod. It includes the weapon itself and a surveillance camera. It can be controlled remotely via a cable,” said Valentyn, a serviceman of the 1st Battalion of Unmanned Systems of the 123rd Territorial Defense Brigade, callsign Gruzyn.
He added that this allows a soldier to fire while staying in cover at a considerable distance from the line of contact.
The unit is also operating a ground robotic system similar to TerMIT, featuring a tracked base and a modular design. This allows different types of weapons to be mounted on it, including a Browning machine gun. The robot is capable of covering long distances and returning back.
