Ukraine And Norway Sign Defense Partnership Declaration
Volodymyr Zelensky said after the signing that they had launched a drone deal with Norway and that their teams would work on the details. He added that they were also focused on joint production projects, which were already underway, and emphasized that they needed to make them stronger.
The President also expressed gratitude for Norway's significant contributions to the PURL program, noting that it strengthens Ukraine's defense capabilities, particularly its air defense, and that funds from the program are used to purchase American PAC-2 and PAC-3 missiles for Patriot systems capable of intercepting ballistic threats.
Zelensky also thanked Norway for its support of Ukraine's energy sector, adding that the assistance had helped greatly during that most difficult winter.
