Indy Selvarajah Joins The Romans As Group Creative Director

(MENAFN- PRovoke) LONDON- Indy Selvarajah, who stepped down as chief creative officer for global markets in January, has joined UK-based agency The Romans as group creative director.

Selvarajah will report to executive creative director Dan Roberts and will oversee global campaigns at the firm, which has expanded from its UK base to include growing operations in the United States, the Middle East, and-most recently -Germany.

Founded in 2015 by Joe Mackay-Sinclair, The Romans has been one of the most awarded firms in the UK over its 11-history, and has one of the largest creative departments of any public relations firm of its size, with 26 staffer-including 10 new hires last year. The firm works with clients including Heineken, Lidl, Supercell, B&Q, Liptons, OnePlus, Stanley, Nationwide, and Snapchat, and generated more than £15 million in fees in 2026.

Selvarajah joined Ketchum in February 2021 as executive creative director after working in creative leadership roles at Edelman and Weber Shandwick. He was promoted to become the agency's first chief creative officer for global markets in June 2022.

During his tenure, Ketchum UK in particular emerged as one of the most creatively decorated PR agencies in the market, winning across PR, design, integrated and purpose-led categories, and increasingly competing directly with advertising agencies at major creative awards shows.

In a LinkedIn post expressed his excitement at the new role in a LinkedIn post:“Hooking up with Joe Mackay-Sinclair, Lucy McGettigan, Daniel Roberts, and all The Romans gang to create some good trouble, stellar campaigns (for real people, in the real world) and scooping more shiny bits of metal.

“Looking forward to returning to a growing speedboat after time aboard the tankers.”
