Azerbaijan And Türkiye Launch Implementing Mou On Defense Industry Co-Op (PHOTO)

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 3. Azerbaijan and
Türkiye have begun implementing a memorandum of understanding (MoU)
on cooperation in the field of defense industry, a source in the
Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense Industry told Trend.
Deputy Minister of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan Hidayat Azimov met with a delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the Defense Industry Committee of Türkiye Hakan Karatas, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan.
The meeting discussed issues arising from the MoU signed to strengthen the legal and institutional foundations of cooperation between the two institutions, and a relevant implementation agreement was signed to implement specific activities in this direction.
Karatas and Azimov also held meetings with the leadership of the Türkiye-Azerbaijan University and the Baku Higher Oil School.
