A storage facility for Orion-type UAVs was hit. The Orion is a reusable strike and reconnaissance drone worth over $5 million, capable of carrying missiles and aerial bombs and remaining airborne for up to 24 hours.
The destruction of four Orion UAVs has been confirmed.
An An-72P aircraft was also struck – a maritime patrol plane used to monitor coastal areas and detect violations of territorial waters.
The third target was a P-37 MECH radar station, designed to detect aerial targets, guide fighter aircraft, and provide targeting data for air defense systems.
“The precision of actions and the well-planned execution of operations by the Unmanned Systems Forces are undermining the enemy's military potential faster than it can be restored,” the military said.
The strikes were carried out in coordination with the Deep Strike Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces.
