Dubai Walk In Al Ras: 12Km Walkway To Connect Historic Landmarks, Metro, Transport Hubs
Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has awarded the contract for the 1st phase of the Dubai Walk Master Plan in Al Ras, which will see the development of a 12km pedestrian walkway linking historic sites and public transport networks.
The project includes 5km of cycling tracks and will connect major heritage landmarks such as Al Fahidi Fort, Al Shindagha Historic District and Al Ahmadiya School, integrating with 11 metro, bus and marine transport stations to improve first- and last-mile connectivity.
