UAE Authorities Contain Fire Caused By Drone Debris In Fujairah Port

Fujairah, UAE: The authorities in the Emirate of Fujairah have confirmed that the sounds heard today, March 3, 2026, in various areas of the emirate were the result of successful air defense interception operations.
In a statement posted on X by the Fujairah Media Office, relevant authorities responded to a fire that broke out this morning, March 3, 2026, in the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone (FOIZ) by bringing the fire under control, and restoring normal operations in the area.
The fire was as a result of falling debris following the successful interception of a drone by air defense systems and no injuries were reported.
It stated that the concerned teams will continue to monitor the situation and take the necessary measures to ensure everyone's safety.
It further urged public to obtain information from official state sources and to avoid ciruclating rumours or unverified information.
