The program opened with a statement by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on "The U.S. in the World," followed by a conversation with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi discussing China’s global role.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer shared perspectives on exercising influence in an increasingly unstable world.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy participated in a panel addressing the long-term support for Ukraine, alongside NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and European Parliament President Roberta Metsola.
Later sessions focused on reinforcing transatlantic security, bringing together leaders including Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, and Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.
A separate panel on defending Europe and supporting Ukraine featured German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.
Discussions also extended to security developments in the Indo-Pacific region, including a session with US Under Secretary of Defense Policy Elbridge Colby and a broader panel on Europe’s role in Indo-Pacific security challenges.
Beyond Europe, panels explored Syria’s post-revolution future, the situation in Venezuela, and efforts to end the war in Sudan.
Additional topics included climate security, food security, water geopolitics, the threat of criminal networks, and challenges to democratic values amid rising global tensions.
The three-day annual conference, which concludes Sunday, brings together dozens of heads of state, government officials, ministers, and senior policymakers from around the world to address pressing security and governance issues.
