GRU Agent Sentenced To 15 Years For Directing Strikes On Ukrainian Airfields
The investigation found that the suspect coordinated missile strikes on the aviation infrastructure of western Ukraine. Among the enemy's priority targets were airfields housing Ukrainian combat helicopters.
To monitor the basing of Ukrainian aircraft, the agent set up an observation post in his own home, located near one of the restricted sites.
Additionally, he installed a video camera with remote access on the roof of his private property for the Russian GRU. Using this equipment, the Russians aimed to track Ukrainian aviation activity to prepare air strikes.
