Sybiha On Russian Oil Plant Strike In Dnipro: Russia Systematically Attacks American Business In Ukraine

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated this on the social network X, Ukrinform reports.

"This attack was not a mistake-it was deliberate, as the Russians attempted to strike this facility multiple times," he noted.

Sybiha recalled that Russia is systematically attacking American business in Ukraine: "Russian strikes last year damaged Boeing offices in Kyiv, a major American-owned electronics manufacturer in Zakarpattia, and other facilities."

During the full-scale war, he stated, "approximately half of US Chamber members in Ukraine saw damage or destruction to their facilities on various scales."

"Putin's attacks on American businesses and American interests in Ukraine show his complete disregard for peace efforts led by President Donald Trump," Sybiha said.

That is why, Sybiha emphasized, it is so important to move the peace process forward - and Ukraine is ready to do so. It is also important to strengthen Ukraine's air defense and increase sanctions pressure on Russia.

"Moscow's refusal to reciprocate Ukraine's constructive steps toward peace must come at a cost and the Kremlin must feel that this cost is serious," Sybiha concluded.

As Ukrinform reported, in Dnipro Russians attacked a plant owned by an American company, resulting in 300 tonnes of oil spilling onto the roads.
