Trump Warns Of US Action If Iran Shoots At Protesters
KABUL (Pajhwok): US President Donald Trump has responded to the ongoing protests in Iran, stating that if the Iranian government opens fire on protesters, the United States will“rescue” them.
In a post on X, Trump emphasized that the US is prepared for such a situation.
He stated:“If Iran shoots at peaceful protesters and violently kills them-as is their practice-the United States of America will come to their rescue. We are ready.”

It is important to note that Iran has been witnessing protests since the beginning of this week, sparked by the rising value of the dollar and inflation.
Earlier, Fatemeh Mohajerani, the spokesperson for the Iranian government, acknowledged the protests during her weekly press conference. She mentioned that the government recognizes the protests and will listen to the voices of dissent, including those who are outspoken.
