Heavy Rains, Floods Leave 17 Dead Across Afghanistan
According to foreign media, at least 17 people have been killed and 11 injured as a result of heavy rains and flooding in Afghanistan.
The spokesperson for Afghanistan's National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said that normal life has been disrupted in the country's central, northern, southern, and western regions.
According to the spokesperson, the first winter rains ended a prolonged dry spell, however, intense rainfall and snowfall have caused heavy losses in several areas.
Infrastructure has been damaged, and many livestock animals have also died.
