Meta Closes Deal to Acquire AI Startup Manus
(MENAFN) Silicon Valley powerhouse Meta revealed Tuesday it has successfully closed a deal to acquire Manus, an artificial intelligence startup with Chinese origins, marking another aggressive expansion in the company's AI investment strategy.
The social media conglomerate issued a statement confirming the transaction: "We are excited to announce that Manus is joining Meta to bring a leading agent to billions of people and unlock opportunities for businesses across our products."
Manus, originally founded in China before relocating its operations to Singapore, made waves in the AI sector earlier this year by launching its inaugural general AI agent.
