Dubai: 48 Fireworks Displays Across 40 Locations To Light Up New Year's Eve 2026
This 31 December, Dubai will dazzle with 48 spectacular fireworks displays across 40 different locations, up from 36 last year, to ring in the New Year 2026, the Events Security Committee announced in a press conference today.
To ensure the safe execution of this unprecedented pyrotechnic spectacle, the emirate will deploy over 23,000 security personnel and coordinate 55 government and private entities in what officials are calling the most comprehensive New Year's Eve operation in Dubai's history.

The security operation will be led by 9,884 Dubai Police officers, complemented by 13,502 private security personnel. The force will be supported by 1,625 security patrols, 36 bicycle patrols, 34 mounted patrols, and 53 marine rescue boats to ensure comprehensive coverage on land and sea.
Seamless transportation and medical readinessTo manage the immense crowds, Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will operate a fleet of 14,000 taxis, 1,300 public buses, and 107 metro trains, managed by 5,565 RTA employees. For medical emergencies, 236 ambulances, 635 paramedics, and 1,900 medical staff will be on high alert, with 12 hospitals and outdoor clinics prepared for any incidents.
The Civil Defence will also have a significant presence with 1,754 personnel and 165 vehicles ready to respond to any emergencies.
