RMS Chief Reviews Operations, Readiness At King Hussein Medical City

Amman, Dec. 24 (Petra) – Director General of the Royal Medical Services (RMS) Brig. Gen. Dr. Sahel Al-Hammouri on Wednesday inspected the King Hussein Medical City and reviewed the workflow and readiness of medical staff in handling medical cases to identify needs that would contribute to developing work plans.
Al-Hammouri toured the spinal cord department at the Royal Rehabilitation Center, the only department in the Kingdom specialized in treating spinal cord injuries and their complications. He reviewed the operating system of the rehabilitation program provided by the department to patients. The department receives referred cases from all hospitals across the Kingdom, in addition to cases from sister countries, and provides specialized referral treatment under the supervision of a specialized medical team that includes physiotherapy, occupational therapy, psychological and social care, and nutrition.
Al-Hammouri stressed the importance of adherence to military discipline and command and control and of strengthening teamwork to ensure the continuation of the development process and the advancement of the level of medical services provided to patients and visitors, in line with future visions and aspirations.
