Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold Sells Out In UAE: What's The Next Phone To Watch Out For?

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times)

After selling out just 500 units within minutes of launch, the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold has made one thing clear: appetite for bold, premium innovation is thriving in the UAE. Released as a limited-edition device in only five global markets, the TriFold's instant sell-out reinforces the UAE's reputation as a hotspot for early adopters and high-end tech. With its 10-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X tri-fold display, Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, 200 MP camera system, and Galaxy AI features built for multitasking and creativity, the device represents Samsung's most ambitious step yet in its foldables roadmap.

But with the TriFold already gone, attention is quickly shifting to what Samsung will unveil next. The answer lies not in another foldable, at least not immediately, but in the company's upcoming flagship smartphone lineup.

Reports suggest Samsung is preparing for its next Galaxy Unpacked event in February, likely in San Francisco, where the Galaxy S26 family is expected to take center stage.

While early expectations included a Galaxy S26 Ultra, an S26 Edge, and a new S26 Pro, recent shifts in strategy appear to have reshaped the lineup. Slower-than-expected sales of the Galaxy S25 Edge reportedly led Samsung to reconsider the Edge concept altogether, while plans for a higher-priced“Pro” model were dropped amid concerns about price competitiveness, especially with Apple's iPhone 17 maintaining its entry-level pricing.

As a result, the phone to watch next is the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
