Traffic patrols also managed traffic flow, secured the area, and facilitated the arrival of the ambulance and rescue teams. They also worked to remove the damaged vehicle and restore traffic movement as quickly as possible.

After the accident, Dubai Police warned motorists of the serious risks of driving while extremely tired, drowsy, or experiencing health conditions such as low or high blood sugar, high blood pressure, psychological disorders, or sudden loss of consciousness.

Brigadier Juma Salem bin Suwaidan, said "some drivers may underestimate mild symptoms, yet those symptoms can quickly become a direct cause of a fatal crash".

He noted that losing consciousness behind the wheel is among the most dangerous causes of major accidents, as a driver can lose full control within seconds, putting their own life and the lives of others at risk.

He stressed the importance of regular medical check-ups, especially for drivers with chronic conditions and those who spend long hours behind the wheel, and urged motorists to take sufficient breaks during long journeys and stop driving immediately if they feel dizzy, exhausted, or unwell.
