Erdogan to Attend International Peace Forum


(MENAFN) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is scheduled to travel to Turkmenistan on December 11-12 to take part in the International Peace and Security Forum, according to Türkiye’s communications director.

The forum is organized to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality and to celebrate the year 2025, which has been declared the “International Year of Peace and Trust” by the UN General Assembly, Burhanettin Duran stated on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal.

Duran added that President Erdogan will deliver a speech at the forum and engage in bilateral discussions with other attending heads of state and government, including the host nation, Turkmenistan, during the event’s sidelines.
