Doha, Qatar: The ninth round of the Qatar Equestrian Tour (Longines Hathab) kicked off at the Longines Arena in Al Shaqab yesterday.
The three-day event began with the Amateur Tour, featuring 100 cm jumps.
The podium winners of the Amateur Tour with Longines Hathab Deputy Director Saeed Hamad Al Rashdi.
Layan Sultan Al Thani claimed the title on Dino Bb Z in 16.35 seconds, followed by Mariam Abdulkarim Abdul on Beyonce (17.43) and Adel Khalil Abdulrazaq on Phoenix (17.51). Awards were presented by Saeed Hamad Al Rashdi, Deputy Director of the Longines Hathab Championship.
Qatar Equestrian Federation Board member Ali bin Yousef Al Rumaihi presented the trophies to the Silver Tour winners.
The Silver Tour, contested over 130 cm jumps, saw Khalid Al Hadi take the top spot on Carlton in 28.84 seconds. Mohammed Abdullah Jumaa on Viahibe (28.89) and Hussein Saeed Haidan on Sausido (29.89) completed the podium.
Winners received their awards from Ali bin Yousef Al Rumaihi, Board member of the Qatar Equestrian Federation.
