Mobilized Service Members To Be Able To Obtain Mortgages At 3% - Government Decision
“Housing under the YeOselia program will become more accessible for service members. The government's decision will enable mobilized service members to obtain mortgages at a rate of 3% instead of 7%. In this way, we ensure equal opportunities for both mobilized personnel and those serving under contract,” the Prime Minister wrote.
Svyrydenko noted that the government has set clear limits on the size of eligible housing to keep the program socially oriented: apartments are limited to 115.5 m2, and houses are limited to 125.5 m2.
The Prime Minister added that 21,864 Ukrainian families have already obtained homes through the preferential mortgage program. In total, they have received loans amounting to 37.4 billion UAH. This includes 6,438 service members and veterans who were able to purchase housing through the program.
“Over the years of the program's operation, we see that despite the war, Ukrainians want and are ready to buy homes in their own country - in Ukraine. We continually update the program's terms to reflect current realities. Applications for mortgages under the program can be submitted via the Diia app,” the Prime Minister noted.
