Scouts Present Zelensky With Bethlehem Peace Light

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, the President announced this on Telegram.

“Every year, we receive the Peace Light of Bethlehem from Ukraine's scout organizations, and today we continued this tradition. It is an important symbol of goodness and unity, one that carries special meaning now,” Zelensky emphasized.

He stated that the flame will be passed on to military units, hospitals, schools, churches, and rescuers.

The President expressed his gratitude to the entire scout community for their service,“and for supporting our people both here in Ukraine and abroad.”

“My gratitude also goes to the National Organization of the Scouts of Ukraine, Plast – National Scout Organization of Ukraine, and the Association of Ukrainian Guides,” Zelensky noted.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Bethlehem Peace Light was delivered to Kyiv on December 7.
