Defense Forces Continue To Hold Northern Part Of Pokrovsk Syrskyi
He stated that an extremely challenging phase of defending the Pokrovsk–Myrnohrad agglomeration is ongoing. For this reason, Syrskyi noted, he again worked with commanders of troop formations, corps, brigades, regiments, and individual battalions.
"The battle continues. Ukrainian units continue to hold the northern part of Pokrovsk. In the Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad areas, we are actively blocking the enemy's attempts to amass assault infantry groups and advance around these settlements. Directly in the cities, our soldiers continue to hold designated areas," he emphasized.
Syrskyi noted that while the invaders disregard losses of personnel, Ukrainian commanders have a clear understanding of the importance of preserving the lives and health of their subordinate personnel.

To ensure the resilience of the defense, a number of decisions were made regarding combat management, coordination, and comprehensive support of the forces and assets involved. In this context, particular importance is placed on organizing additional logistical routes, timely medical evacuation, as well as conducting counter-battery operations and countering enemy UAVs, the Commander-in-Chief emphasized.
