Terror Launch Pads Still Active Across LOC: BSF

Srinagar- Terrorist launching pads across the Line of Control remain active despite several of them being destroyed during Operation Sindoor, Inspector General of BSF Ashok Yadav said on Sunday.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of an event, Yadav said that although many installations in Pakistan occupied Kashmir were hit during the operation, some launch pads continue to function and have the presence of terrorists.

He said security forces along the LoC are on high alert to prevent infiltration attempts, especially as winter approaches.

“There is always an attempt by Pakistan to push terrorists before winter. Visibility is low these days, but we have modern surveillance systems and are covering all vulnerable stretches. Our efforts are focused on foiling every infiltration attempt,” Yadav said.

The BSF officer added that Operation Sindoor is still underway and any attempt by Pakistan to disturb peace will be met with a strong response.
