RT India Launches Nationwide Campaign
(MENAFN) RT India has initiated a nationwide promotional effort across out-of-home (OOH), digital, and print media in anticipation of the December launch of its English news channel in India.
The campaign, highlighting the historic relationship between Russia and India, is titled “A new voice from an old friend.”
The Moscow-based international TV news network aims for its new channel to serve the Indian audience specifically.
The promotional rollout targets major business, cultural, and diplomatic hubs in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai, as well as key airports and the print and digital editions of top newspapers.
Spanning 65 prime locations and 190 digital billboards and screens, the campaign emphasizes shared viewpoints, milestones, and the enduring spirit of friendship between the two countries.
A central visual features a symbolic depiction of the camaraderie between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin, who is scheduled to visit India in December.
Additionally, RT’s campaign includes a large-scale 5D OOH initiative at Delhi Airport, Noida, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, featuring immersive 5D creative displays on high-impact LED screens.
A special Indo-Russian installation on the Delhi Metro runs along the Yellow Line—from Samaypur Badli to Millennium City Centre Gurugram—covering 37 stations over 47 km, showcasing RT’s cultural footprint and public engagement.
