Defense Forces Liberate More Than 430 Km2 North Of Pokrovsk As Result Of Counteroffensive Actions Syrskyi

He informed the participants about the current situation in the areas of hostilities. He noted that the operational-strategic situation remains complex. The enemy continues to attack peaceful cities in Ukraine and energy infrastructure, while intensifying offensive actions along the line of contact.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russian terrorists have launched over 112,000 attack UAVs Shahed, targeting residential buildings and civilian infrastructure, resulting in the deaths of children and civilians.
From late August to October this year, despite enemy pressure, the Defense Forces managed to conduct counteroffensive actions in the Dobropillia sector. As a result, Ukrainian units split the enemy's offensive grouping. Russian losses amounted to more than 13,000 killed and wounded.
During his address, Syrskyi expressed gratitude to the governments and peoples of the EU member states, as well as to the EU leadership, for their contribution to supporting Ukraine in its fight against Russian invaders. He separately thanked them for the practical implementation of the PURL initiative.
Among other things, he highlighted the importance of the European Union Military Assistance Mission to Ukraine (EUMAM), a multinational initiative that plays a significant role in training Ukrainian service members.
Syrskyi also personally thanked General Clancy for his active support for Ukraine.

As Ukrinform reported, yesterday there were 173 combat engagements between Ukraine's Defense Forces and Russian troops, 59 of them in the Pokrovsk sector.
