Zelensky After Talks With Vance On Peace Plan: Agreement Reached With US And Europe To Work At Advisor Level
“We spoke for almost an hour with US Vice President JD Vance and US Army Secretary Driscoll. We managed to discuss many details of the American proposal to end the war and are trying to make the further path dignified and truly effective for achieving lasting peace,” he wrote.
Zelensky thanked them for their attention and willingness to work with us and our partners.
"We agreed that we will work together with America and Europe at the advisor level to make the path to peace truly viable. Ukraine has always respected and continues to respect President Trump's desire to end the bloodshed, and we welcome every realistic proposal. We agreed to stay in constant contact, and the teams are ready to work 24/7," he stressed.
As reported by Ukrinform, US President Donald Trump confirmed on Friday that his administration had set next Thursday as the deadline for Ukraine to agree to the White House's plan to end the Russian war.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky officially received from the American side a draft plan, which, according to the American side, could revitalize diplomacy.
Earlier, American media reported that the Trump administration had held secret consultations with the Russians to develop a new plan to end the war in Ukraine. According to Axios, the plan consists of 28 poin s and is divided into four general categories: peace in Ukraine, security guarantees, security in Europe, and future US relations with Russia and Ukraine.
In particular, according to media reports, Kyiv is expected to relinquish control of the Donbas regions under Ukraine's control, reduce its army, and give up a significant portion of its weapons. The plan provides for the transfer of the remaining Donbas territories in exchange for security guarantees from the US for Kyiv and Europe in the event of future Russian aggression.

On November 21, Zelensky discussed this plan during a joint conversatio with French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
