This year, the festival received a total of 3,468 film submissions in various languages from across the world. After an extensive selection process, only 82 outstanding feature films were chosen - and among them stands MAYASABHA. This selection provides the film an honoUrable platform in front of renowned international distributors, festival programmers, producers, sales agents, and industry professionals.

Set against the backdrop of monsoon-soaked Mumbai, MAYASABHA unfolds a gripping story of human greed, survival, shattered dreams, and desperate hope. The film follows a security guard on parole, and his sister who are struggling to survive life in a chawl. Their fate changes when they cross paths with a troubled yet brilliant young man - and a once-powerful film producer haunted by his past. A rumoured treasure of missing gold becomes the axis on which their lives turn upside down. What begins as a pursuit of hidden fortune slowly reveals a haunting tale of moral collapse, fractured relationships, and the fragile boundaries of humanity.
