(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 21 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Government and the people of Kuwait extend their profound gratitude and deep appreciation to their brothers, President of the UAE Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, for launching the "Celebrating Decades of Brotherhood" initiative, said Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah Friday.
His Highness the Amir also extended his gratitude to UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al-Maktoum.
Sheikh Hamad expressed Kuwait's appreciation for the noble positions, gracious sentiments, and sincere expressions conveyed by Their Highnesses, the UAE Government, and the brotherly Emirati people.
He emphasized that this initiative reflects the depth of the historic fraternal ties that unite the two countries and embodies the cohesion of the joint Gulf family, as well as the solidarity of its leaders and peoples throughout history. These bonds, he noted, have strengthened the distinguished place of this relationship in the Gulf collective consciousness.
Sheikh Hamad conveyed Kuwait's wishes for continued progress, prosperity, and well-being to the UAE and its people under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan. (end)
