Tatarstan Promises Support To Kabul Technical, Industrial Sectors
KABUL (Pajhwok): The Tatarstan president has expressed readiness to expand all kinds of relations and cooperation with Afghanistan, saying his country could provide necessary goods and services to Kabul in technical and industrial sectors.
Rustam Minnikhanov made the pledges during a meeting with the Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate to Russia, the Afghan Embassy in Russia wrote on its X-Page.
Ambassador Maulvi Gul Hassan Hassan met with Minnikhanov during his visit to Tatarstan.
The statement said detailed discussions were held on expanding political, economic, trade and security cooperation during the meeting,.
Maulvi Hassan mentioned Afghanistan's improved security, the prevention of drug cultivation and smuggling, and the economic opportunities and also proposed opening joint trade centers between the two countries and holding exhibitions for the products of the two countries.
The embassy wrote the President of Tatarstan expressed his readiness to expand all kinds of relations and cooperation with Afghanistan, adding that Tatarstan could provide Afghanistan with necessary goods and services in the technical and industrial fields.
The ambassador also met with Afghans and students living in Tatarstan and listened to their problems and assured solutions.
