Search And Rescue Operation Ongoing In Ternopil Following Russian Strike

As of the morning of Thursday, November 20, the information regarding the dead and injured has not changed.

Rescuers worked through the night. More than 700 square meters of debris have been cleared, and 230 cubic meters of destroyed structures have been removed.

The search continues for people whose whereabouts remain unknown.

The State Emergency Service noted that the operation is complicated by the high fragmentation of the structures, extensive destruction, and the need to work manually in several areas.

The search and rescue operation is ongoing. Forces and equipment from nine regions of Ukraine have been deployed - more than 230 rescuers and 50 units of equipment in total.

As reported by Ukrinform, according to Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko, as of the evening of November 19, there is information about 26 missing people in the building destroyed by the Russian missile strike in Ternopil, including three children. A total of 93 people were injured, among them 18 children. Forty-six people have been rescued.
