NEW YORK - Method Communications has hired Ibby Hussain as senior VP to lead the agency's expanding financial services and fintech practice, marking a deeper move into the sector.
Hussain joins Method after more than 10 years at Vested, where he helped the agency scale from its founding to more than 100 employees. He most recently served as VP for brand and advertising, overseeing integrated work across PR, brand, creative, social, advertising and marketing for private equity firms, asset managers, ETF issuers and other financial services brands.
During his tenure at Vested, Hussain advised a broad range of financial services organizations, including Rockefeller Capital Group, VanEck, Investopedia, Acrisure, JC Flowers, Grayscale, Apex Fintech Solutions, Innovation Refunds and Pagaya. He held senior roles spanning integrated communications, brand, advertising, creative, social, digital and PR.
Method said Hussain will be responsible for leading and growing its financial services and fintech practice, which builds on the agency's existing work with companies including Adyen, Addepar, Bloomberg, Credit Karma, Robinhood and Quicken.
“Ibby's track record simplifying complex financial narratives for both Fortune 500 institutions and high-growth fintechs makes him the ideal leader to build this practice,” said Method CEO David Parkinson.“His experience driving integrated campaigns aligns with how we are expanding our specialized expertise across the agency.”
