QRCS Annual Conference Attracts 600 Participants

Doha, Qatar: Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) has concluded its 3rd Annual Scientific Conference and sideline exhibition, titled“Musculoskeletal/Neurological Disorders & Pain Management in Primary Health Care”, under the patronage of Minister of Public Health H E Mansoor bin Ebrahim bin Saad Al Mahmoud. The three-day event was held in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), HMC, PHCC, and Servier Medical Company. It was also sponsored by QLife Pharma, Sedeer Medical Services and Trading, and Ebn Sina Medical.

The opening ceremony was attended by H E Al Mahmoud; H E Sheikh Dr. Mohamed bin Hamad Al Thani, Director of the Department of Non-Communicable Diseases Prevention Programs at MoPH; Brigadier-General Dr. Eng. Abdulrahman Ali Al-Abdulmalik, Commander of Medical Services at the Qatari Armed Forces; Brigadier-General Salem Saeed Al-Rashidi, Director of Medical Services at the Ministry of Interior (MoI); and Dr. Zoltan Varga, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Apex Health.

QRCS President H E Yousef bin Ali Al-Khater and other senior officials also attended.

In his opening remarks, Al-Khater stated,“Year after year, the QRCS Annual Scientific Conference further proves itself as an annual scientific event for the best professionals in Qatar, those who adopt the noble medical mission and dedicate their lives to serving others and maintaining a healthy community. Each edition of the conference comes to gain more success, attract wider attention, and reaffirm the conference's added value for the medical sector and medical community." Conference Chairman Dr. Ghanem Salman Al-Sulaiti, Director of the Training, Research, and Development Center delivered a keynote speech. This year's edition attracted medical professionals from across Qatar, with a total of 600 participants attending both in person and online.
