Russians Attempt To Advance Toward Huliaypole From North And East - Spox Voloshyn
According to him, the situation in the Huliaypole area remains one of the most tense on the southern front. Over the past day alone, 14 combat clashes have been recorded here - near Vesele, Vysokoe, Zatyshshia, Rivnopillia, Zelenyi Hai, and Dobropillia.
"The enemy is trying to push back our Defense Forces, is inflicting massive fire on our positions, and is trying to move toward the logistics route that runs from the Dnipropetrovsk region to Huliaypole in the direction of the village of Varvarivka. The enemy is also quite active in conducting infiltration operations there: its groups, moving through the woods, are trying to penetrate deep into our defenses," the spokesman said.
Voloshin assured that the Ukrainian military conducts daily search and strike operations to detect and destroy such groups, as well as counter-assault operations to prevent Russian advances. Particularly intense fighting continues near Yablukove.
He also reported that dozens of guided aerial bombs were used during the day: 10 on Orikhiv, 6 on Huliaypole, and 7 on Bilohiria. In addition, at least 1,500 kamikaze drone attacks were recorded in the southern directions.
