Afghan Delegation Off To Iran To Attend IEE2025

KABUL (Pajhwok): A delegation from the Ministry of Energy and Water (MoEW) travelled to Iran on Monday to participate in the 25th Iran International Electricity Exhibition (IEE 2025).

In a post on its X handle, the ministry said that the delegation includes Director General of Sustainable Energy Abdul Rahman Rahmani, Head of Energy and Engineering Advisory Services Ismail Amar Mamozai and Head of the Energy Deputy's Office Mawlawi Bismillah Haidari.

It said the exhibition would be held from November 11 to 14 in Tehran, the capital of Iran.

An Iranian media outlet reported that the exhibition was divided into three main sections - Renewable Energies, Optimisation, Efficiency and Energy Saving, and Education, Research and Culture Promotion. The goal is to raise public awareness, attract investment, and promote the development of modern technologies in the energy sector.

It added that the exhibition, at Tehran's Permanent International Fairground, provides an opportunity for domestic and foreign participants to become acquainted with the latest achievements and innovations in the field of clean energy.
