CRB To Host 12Th India & Sustainability Standards Summit In New Delhi From Nov 1214

(MENAFN- KNN India) New Delhi, Nov 7 (KNN) The Centre for Responsible Business (CRB) will convene the 12th edition of its annual 'India and Sustainability Standards (ISS)' summit from November 12–14 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, amid intensifying global focus on responsible and sustainable business practices.

The 2025 summit, themed 'Enhancing Competitiveness and Positive Impacts through Responsible Business', is expected to bring together more than 1,500 participants, including over 150 speakers and representatives from more than 50 partner organisations.

The discussions will explore how companies can strengthen competitiveness while delivering long-term value for stakeholders through sustainability-aligned business strategies.

“A number of recent global research reports indicate that a large majority of companies have continued with their sustainability investments and have stayed on course with their supply chain initiatives globally,” said Rijit Sengupta, CEO, CRB.

This is in spite of the relegation of sustainability, inclusion and climate change agenda to the backburner by certain advanced economies - and offers considerable hope and motivation for sustainable/responsible business practitioners,” he added.

As in previous editions, the forum will serve as a multi-stakeholder platform, drawing participation from private enterprises, government bodies, international development agencies, academia, civil society, and standard-setting organisations.

Dialogue will centre on balancing enterprise growth with purpose-driven value creation, and adapting business models to evolving environmental, social and governance expectations.

The summit will open on November 12 with high-level plenaries examining responsible business strategies for competitiveness, and approaches to fostering positive impacts on people and nature.

Over the following two days, sessions will run across thematic tracks covering areas such as deforestation-free supply chains, regenerative agriculture, sustainable textiles, inclusive growth, public sector sustainability leadership, sustainable consumption, value-chain transformation and sustainability standards.

Media and stakeholders may register online at . Further details are available on the summit website.
