DOHA: Birla Public School, in collaboration with FAHMEE Qatar, successfully organised an insightful awareness campaign for Grade VI students, aimed at nurturing compassion, empathy, and inclusion among children.

The session was led by distinguished speakers, Aaliya Masoodi, Educator, Social Entrepreneur, and Founder of Family Bond, Sadia Sultan, Clinical Psychologist and Nasir Al Tooblani, Associate Psychologist at Flourishing Minds Clinic. Focusing on the theme of neurodivergence, the speakers encouraged students to appreciate individual differences and to understand that diversity in thought and behaviour is a source of strength, not limitation. Through engaging discussions, the students learned about ADHD and autism, gaining awareness that these are not illnesses or disorders but rather different ways in which the brain functions.

The interactive session provided a safe and open platform for reflection, allowing students to share their thoughts and takeaways. They expressed that kindness embodies being friendly, generous, and considerate, while true inclusion is about embracing differences with empathy and respect.

The campaign proved to be a meaningful and enriching experience, inspiring students to practice kindness, understanding, and inclusivity in their everyday interactions - both within the school environment and beyond.
