China to extend its visa-free policy for several nations

(MENAFN) China announced on Monday that it will extend its visa-free policy by one year, now covering a range of countries, including Sweden.

Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning stated that visa-exemption arrangements for France and other eligible countries will be extended through December 31, 2026. She also confirmed that Swedish citizens will enjoy visa-free entry from November 10, 2025, to December 31, 2026.

In a separate announcement, China’s Consular Affairs office shared on social media platform X that the unilateral visa-free policy for citizens of 45 countries will also be extended to December 31, 2026.

This move continues China’s efforts to facilitate international travel and strengthen ties with participating countries.
