Gov't Fuel Pricing Committee Reduces Prices For November
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency)
Amman, Oct. 31 The Fuel Pricing Committee held its monthly meeting today, Friday, to determine the prices of petroleum derivatives in the local market for the period from November 1 to November 30.
During the meeting, the committee reviewed global prices of crude oil and petroleum products for October and compared them with those of September. The review showed that global average prices recorded a decrease in both gasoline grades (90 and 95), while diesel prices remained stable during October.
Based on the application of the pricing formula in line with global price trends for all petroleum products, the committee found that the price of gasoline 90 decreased by 10 fils per liter, and gasoline 95 by 5 fils per liter, while the price of diesel remained unchanged.
Accordingly, the committee decided to adjust the selling price of gasoline (octane 90) to 845 fils per liter, down from 855 fils per liter, and gasoline (octane 95) to 1,075 fils per liter, down from 1,080 fils per liter. The selling price of diesel will remain fixed at 685 fils per liter, while the price of kerosene will also remain at 620 fils per liter.
The price of a domestic gas cylinder (12.5 kg) will continue to be 7 Jordanian dinars per cylinder.
It is worth noting that the average price of Brent crude during October was approximately $64.7 per barrel, compared with an average of $68 per barrel in September.
