Czech Republic Delivers Hundreds Of Energy Installations To Ukraine Government Envoy

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Government Envoy for Ukraine's Reconstruction Tomas Kopecny stated this in an interview with Ukrinform.

He explained that a cogeneration unit is not a backup generator, but an alternative energy source with a high efficiency rate.

Czech partners have begun supplying these units in large numbers to Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk region, and other regions of Ukraine. The advantage of such devices is that they are relatively inexpensive and can generate from 500 kW to 4–5 MW of power. They can be connected to the grid, and if more capacity is needed, several units can be installed. One cogeneration unit can provide power to a hospital or an entire city district, Kopečný noted.

"Since the start of the full-scale invasion in 2022, when we actually began this work, hundreds of such units have already been delivered," Kopecny said.

He added that the strongest countries in the cogeneration sector are the Czech Republic, Austria, and Germany. In addition, the Czech Republic supplies 3D printers used in the medical field, industry, and the military.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Tomas Kopecny emphasized that the new Czech Republic government, which will be formed after the parliamentary elections, will continue programs to support Ukraine, though the form of assistance may change.
