Emergency Power Outages Lifted Rolling Blackout Schedules Introduced In Several Regions
“Due to the difficult situation in the power system caused by previous Russian attacks, scheduled power outages have been introduced in several regions of Ukraine, ranging from stages 1 to 2.5. These restrictions will be lifted once the situation stabilizes,” the statement reads.
As of this morning, 54 settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region were without power due to thunderstorms and strong winds. Emergency repair crews are working to restore electricity, with regional utility specialists aiming to reconnect all affected consumers by the end of the day.
Read also: Russian forces strike infrastructure facility in Sumy regionAdditionally, the duration of power limitation schedules for industrial consumers has been extended. In certain regions, these restrictions will remain in effect from 07:00 to 19:00.
As of 06:00 today, electricity consumption levels matched those recorded at the same time on the previous working day - Friday, October 24. On October 26, the daily peak in consumption occurred in the evening and was 1.6% higher than the peak recorded on Sunday, October 19.
Ukrenergo emphasized that energy crews are doing everything possible to restore stable electricity supply across all regions with damaged networks. The company also urged consumers to avoid using multiple high-power appliances simultaneously until 22:00.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, emergency power outages were implemented in Kyiv, Kyiv region, and Dnipropetrovsk region at the instruction of Ukrenergo.
