Russian Forces Shell 14 Settlements In Kharkiv Region Over Past Day, Three People Injured


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Over the past day, the city of Kharkiv and 13 settlements in the Kharkiv region came under enemy fire. As a result of the shelling, three people were injured," Syniehubov stated.

According to him, a 60-year-old man was injured in the village of Osynove, Kupiansk community, a 61-year-old man in the village of Tyshchenkivka, Kindrashivka community, and a 40-year-old man in the city of Kupiansk.

Additionally, doctors provided assistance to an 88-year-old woman injured in the October 23 shelling of the village of Kurylivka, and to a 60-year-old man wounded in the October 25 shelling of the settlement of Kivsharivka, Kupiansk community.

The regional head noted that Russian forces used various types of weapons in the attacks on the Kharkiv region, including four KAB glide bombs, one Geran-2 UAV, one Lancet UAV, one Molniya UAV, two FPV drones, and three other drones of unidentified types.

The shelling damaged and destroyed multiple civilian infrastructure facilities.

In Kharkiv, a restaurant building was damaged; in the Bohodukhiv district, power lines in the settlement of Zolochiv and a two-story apartment building in the village of Odnorobivka; in the Kupiansk district, two warehouse buildings, two agricultural vehicles in Blahodativka, two warehouses, and a store in Pidserednie; in the Izium district, two cars in Borova and Topolske; in the Kharkiv district, a private house in Lobanivka; in the Lozova district, railway infrastructure in the village of Nove; and in the Chuhuiv district, a private house in Fedorivka.

The transit evacuation center in Lozova received 147 people during the day, with 55 remaining there.

Since its opening, a total of 9,490 people have registered at the center.

As reported earlier by Ukrinform, on October 26, Russian troops struck the Derhachi communit in the Kharkiv region, causing a building to catch fire.
