US officials approve secret surveillance campaign–Trump
(MENAFN) On Friday, U.S. President Donald Trump leveled serious accusations against senior officials from President Joe Biden’s administration, claiming they approved a covert surveillance operation aimed at lawmakers.
“Documents show conclusively that Christopher Wray, Deranged Jack Smith, Merrick Garland, Lisa Monaco, and other crooked lowlifes from the failed Biden Administration, signed off on Operation Arctic Frost,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
Trump alleged that the operation involved spying on members of Congress and recording their phone calls. “They cheated and rigged the 2020 Presidential Election,” he added, emphasizing his belief in the legitimacy of his claims.
“These Radical Left Lunatics should be prosecuted for their illegal and highly unethical behavior!” Trump continued.
The allegations were supported by documents released Thursday by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley. These documents revealed that former Attorney General Merrick Garland, Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco, and FBI Director Christopher Wray had signed an authorization on April 4, 2022, allowing the FBI’s “Arctic Frost” investigation. The release followed Grassley’s announcement that his committee had obtained materials concerning the Justice Department’s alleged surveillance activities, as reported by The New York Post.
