Drone Attack On Kharkiv: One Dead, Number Of Victims Climbs To Nine

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region reported the news on Telegram.

“As a result of the shelling, a 40-year-old man suffered fatal injuries. Nine other people were wounded, and all of them received medical assistance,” the report said.

A criminal case has been opened under Article 438 (war crimes) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As reported, at around 11:00 a.m. on October 22, Russian troops struck the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv with three Shahed drones. The UAVs hit a private educational center, where up to 50 children were present. During the air raid, they were taken to the nearest shelter, and from there, they were evacuated by rescuers. A fire broke out in the building.

A 40-year-old employee of the Shliakhrembud municipal enterprise was killed, according to the regional administration. Six people were injured, four of whom were hospitalized (two in serious condition).
